First facilitation session of the wellbeing Deck; a Truley enriching experience. Had the honor to facilitate the session to cancer survivor volunteers from Oman Cancer Association (OCA).
Reflecting on the principals of behavior change from the ADKAR change management model, participants had the chance to explore the wellbeing, reflecting on the importance of managing and understanding self-emotions.

I love this deck. I have used this with people who are on a marital impasse, people who are struggling with life and myself.
In fact I'm about to use them now in determining my direction for 2023

Was chatting with a friend about her "unsatisfactory" end to 2022 at work, and we were using the ECD to grab some language around her desired and undesired feelings... they suggested that this was a great tool, BUT they would not feel safe introducing it into their own workspace the way things are at present... so we began talking about the value of taking "personal actions" to increase resiliency within the situation "as it is"... Well-Being Deck provided a fabulous springboard for ideas - and other creative solutions/decisions to be made. I LOVE that the personal practices suggested in the WBD increase resiliency, even if the basic workplace is still less-than-ideal, and less-than-interested in making a community culture change. WBD "buys some time" for the affected individual, to make larger /later decisions like : Can I remain in this workplace? Such a great tool for empowerment!

My Wellbeing needs to be a priority as it ensures I bring my best self to work. The Wellbeing Deck reminded me of that and helped me to create a plan to do it. As a mum we often prioritise others ahead of us and this reminds you that you need to 'put your own oxygen mask on first'
